The H4P Organization marks 15 Years of Inclusion, Compassion and Enduring Impact with Anniversary Donation at Manna Mission Hospital

On 8 January 2026, the Here for Perfection (H4P) Organization commemorated fifteen years of transformative service to humanity with an anniversary donation ceremony at Manna Mission Hospital—an occasion steeped in gratitude, compassion and renewed commitment to inclusive development.

The milestone celebration was marked by donations of essential toiletries and sanitary supplies to support patient care and ease the daily burdens faced by those undergoing treatment. In a deeply touching gesture, medical staff on duty were each presented with tokens of appreciation in recognition of their tireless service and quiet sacrifices. All admitted patients also received food and care packages, filling the wards with warmth, smiles and a profound sense of shared humanity. The atmosphere was one of joy and dignity—an embodiment of H4P’s belief that inclusion begins with compassion.

The ceremony drew together healthcare professionals, partners, advocates, patients and community stakeholders as part of H4P’s 15th anniversary activities. Delivering the keynote address, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Bishop Charles Cofie Hackman, reflected on the organization’s journey from a simple conviction to a nationally respected movement for inclusion.

“Fifteen years ago, H4P was not an institution—it was a belief,” he said. “A belief that inclusion is not charity; it is justice. Today, we celebrate not time alone, but lives uplifted and barriers dismantled.” He emphasized that persons with disabilities are not beneficiaries of the journey but its leaders, whose resilience and innovation continue to shape H4P’s direction and purpose.
The anniversary was poignantly dedicated to the memory of his late mother, Mrs. Christina Anansiwa Hackman, whose life of humility, empathy and service inspired the organization’s values. In her honour, H4P adopted and refurbished the Christina Hackman Female and Lying‑In Wards at Manna Mission Hospital—an initiative sustained through periodic donations to patients, staff and hospital management.

Mrs. Linda A. D. Ablorh, Director of Manna Mission Hospital, congratulated H4P on fifteen years of consistent and impactful advocacy, noting that the organization’s regular support has strengthened staff morale, boosted patient wellbeing and enhanced the hospital’s capacity for compassionate care. “H4P truly lives up to its mandate of bringing dignity to disability,” she affirmed.
Echoing these sentiments, Acting Medical Director Dr. Deborah Gadzekpor described the anniversary donation as a powerful convergence of memory, love and purposeful service, noting that the Christina Hackman Wards stand as a living testament to values deeply woven into H4P’s mission. Founded on the conviction that every life—regardless of ability—deserves dignity, opportunity and voice, H4P has, over fifteen years, grown into a movement reshaping how Ghana sees disability. Through media advocacy, community health outreach, celebration of ability and sustained healthcare system support, H4P’s integrated model continues to align with the national vision of leaving no one behind—proof that when compassion leads, inclusion follows.

In the words of Bishop Charles Cofie Hackman; “History does not remember organizations for their intentions, but for their impact. Fifteen years from now, may it be said that H4P did not grow comfortable with success, but courageous with responsibility. That we chose progress over complacency, and purpose over prestige”
